Why Mexico

The right market, with the right structure

Mexico is the gateway to Latin America: proximity to the United States, a deep trade-agreement network and a large domestic market. But entering poorly structured is expensive. We make sure you land on solid ground.

Access to North America

Strategic location and trade agreements (USMCA) that connect your operation with the United States and Canada.

A single point of contact

Legal, tax and operations under one team. You don’t coordinate five vendors — you talk to one.

Compliant from day one

Incorporation, SAT registration and obligations in order before you invoice your first peso. No regulatory surprises.

What’s included in detail

Your entry into Mexico, end to end

Every stage is executed and supervised by our team. You decide; we structure, file and support.

  1. 01

    Legal incorporation

Choosing the right corporate vehicle (S. de R.L., S.A.P.I. or other), drafting bylaws, incorporation before a public notary and registration with the Public Registry of Commerce.

  2. 02

    SAT setup

Tax ID (RFC) registration, e.firma (digital signature), electronic invoicing (CFDI) setup and registration of the tax obligations applicable to your activity.

  3. 03

    Tax structure

Designing the optimal tax structure for your operation and for the flow with your foreign parent company, leveraging double-taxation treaties.

  4. 04

    Operational launch

Support to open a corporate bank account, register as an employer with IMSS and complete the filings needed to hire and operate legally.

  5. 05

    Initial support

Ongoing support through your first months of operation: monthly compliance, regulatory questions and structural adjustments as you grow.

Frequently asked questions

For companies entering Mexico

Do I need a Mexican partner to incorporate?

No. Foreign investment can be 100% in most sectors. We advise you on the few regulated activities that carry restrictions.

How long does the whole process take?

Incorporation and SAT registration usually take 2 to 4 weeks. Bank and operational setup may take longer depending on the institution. We give you a realistic timeline in the assessment.

Do I have to be physically in Mexico?

It is not essential. Much of the process is handled through powers of attorney and digital signatures. We flag the few moments where presence or apostilled documents are required.

Can you manage the relationship with my parent company?

Yes. We structure the intercompany flow, transfer pricing and cross-border taxation so the Mexican operation and the parent stay aligned.

What happens after launch?

You move into Grupo Vortex’s ongoing support (Clarity, Strategy or Horizons plans) to maintain compliance, control and direction as you grow.
